Out for a walk

Roy was wandering aimlessly around the streets, wondering what to do.

Lana walked around the city. She didn't have any jobs to do, since no one asked her.

Roy accidently bumped into a girl who was walking around. "Oh, I'm sorry Miss," he mumbled.

She shook her head and glanced over at him. "It's fine, I should have watched where i was going." Lana said, now seeing he was in the milatary.

Roy sighed. "No, no, it's my fault. Are you hurt?"

She shook her head again. "Na I'm fine. The only thing that can hurt me is Earth Alchmy." She said, smiling slightly.

Roy raised an eyebrow. "You're an alchemist?"

"Yes, I am." She said simplely. Lana was hoping he wont critazie that girls can't be alchemists.

"That's nice. So am I," Roy said with a smile.

Lana smiled back at him. "So what are you good in?I'm Lana Kinra by the way." She said to him, still not knowing his name.

"I'm Roy Mustang," he said, holding out his hand for her to shake. "Flame alchemy. What about you?"

She shook his hand. "Nice to meet you." Lana said with a smile. "And Electricity alchemy."

"That's nice," he said, "Wanna show me how it works?"

She shrugged. "Sure, why not." Lana said, taking few steps back.

Roy watched her curiously. He hadn't ever seen anyone perform electricity alchemy before.

Lana closed her eyes, focing on the small necklace around her neck. 'Thunder...Lightning...come..' She thought, and said in a whisper. The small area around Lana started to show small sparks of electricity. She opened her eyes, slaming down her right hand, having the electricity run up her arm. Once she stood up again, the electricity was moving up and down on the same arm. "Eheh.."

Roy grinned. "Woah, neat!" he said, sounding like an excited 10 year old on Christmas morning.

She laughed lightly. "Thanks. I can't see why people say that electricity alchemy is dangerus." Lana said shrugging and rolling her eyes.

"Looks dangerous to me," Roy muttered, "Alot could go wrong. Then again, that's how all alchemy works. With flame alchemy, if you don't do it exactly right, you can be severly injured. You have to know how, with anything you do."

"Oh so very true. that's why we have books on how to control them." Lana said snapping her fingers, and making the lightning disseaper.

Roy nodded. "Exactly. Would you like to see some flame alchemy?"

"Sure, I'd love too." Lana said smiling slightly more.

Roy pulled a gloved hand out of his pocket. He snapped his fingers and a flame shot out, landing in front of Lana. He snapped again and it was gone. "Can't do much in the crowded streets," he muttered.

'Amazing..' Lana thought, and noded at what Ryo said."I understand."

Roy smiled. "It's hell to learn, but once you do it's easy enough to control," He glanced at all the people walking the streets, "If it wasn't, I'd never do it here."
